Donut Scene
While creating my donut scene I encountered many problems that set me back in creating the perfect model. Some of the biggest challenges I faced while creating this render had to do with the distribution of the sprinkles on the sprinkle plate and the liquid render inside of the bowl. When filling the bowl using the liquid simulator, the problem I encountered was that when creating the rims on the underside of the bowl some gaps were created which allowed for the liquid to spill through. My solution to this problem was simple but tedious in that I went into wireframe and deleted the excess liquid via individual points that made them up which was a time consuming but effective method. The problem I encountered with the sprinkle plate was the distribution of sprinkles all over the plate. I was not able to come up with a solution to this problem, and however abnormal it may be I do not think it takes away from the serenity of the scene. Overall I am very pleased with my final product and am proud of what I've learned and the problems I was able to overcome.
